Celebrating 220 Years As Real Estate Specialist

On this day 220 years ago, Charles Farebrother set up the firm which still bears his name today. Since then we’ve provided property advice to countless landowners, landlords, developers, occupiers, institutions and property companies of all types. Along the way, the firm has also supplied the City of London with three Lord Mayors (no sign of a fourth just yet).

However, whilst remaining incredibly proud of the firm’s tremendous heritage, we feel that it has been the past five years which have been the most momentous in the development of our business. In 2014, Farebrother – as it is today – was purely the leading property consultancy in London’s Midtown, but it has since widened its market reach in London and also its service offer through a series of strategic joint ventures and initiatives. It has done this not by diluting its own identity in the market but through fostering new brands which have their own distinct market presence.

Union Street Partners celebrates its fifth birthday this year and since Farebrother set it up with Tuckerman to specialise in the South Bank market, it has gone on to be the location’s market-leading consultancy. The firm regularly tops the South Bank office leasing tables and is appointed on some of the area’s largest and most exciting projects.
Last year, Farebrother, Tuckerman and USP collaborated on the launch of Flexible Office Space – a consultancy led by Adrian Goldney which advises both the providers and customers of serviced and co-working space. And most recently, we’ve worked with the same partners to back Sq. One Real Estate - a consultancy targeting opportunities created by mixed-use development in London. It has been formed by Jamie Gunning, Guy Passey and Charlie Philip who together have advised on more than £4bn of development in the capital.
The denominators that run through these initiatives are collaboration, expertise, a commitment to service excellence and the identification of opportunity.

We’re proud that Farebrother and its special place in the London market continues, but we’re also excited about the growing scope of our business which has been created through partnerships with some of the best and brightest in the business (watch out for more exciting news coming soon!)
We like to think that Charles Farebrother would approve.#Realestate #Independent #London #Midtown
