Facebook to offer start up space 31st July 2018

Facebook is growing its presence in London by investing in two new buildings in King's Cross.

The social network giant said the new buildings would boost its capacity to up to 6k workers in the UK, up significantly from the 2.3k scheduled to be in the UK by the end of this year.

Steve Hatch, Facebook’s Managing Director for Northern Europe said, “The UK is one of the best places in the world to be a technology company and we’re investing here for the long term.”

London Mayor Sadiq Khan added, “We welcome Facebook’s long term commitment, which is further evidence that London is open for business and a world leading destination for major tech companies.” The Telegraph notes that Facebook is keen on forging relationships with UK start-ups by offering up space in its 'Partner Centre' at Rathbone Place and launching an incubator space.
